We are best known for the two key principles that underpin our work:

Practical people management

With an emphasis on the practical. Don’t get me wrong. We like new ideas. We spend a lot of time researching new management models and theories. But if we can’t find a practical application that will help our clients improve their performance and results then we lose interest. And so do our clients. Because what they want and value is the practical help we give them in addressing their people management challenges.

Easy to learn. Easy to apply

We’ve learnt a lot over the last fifteen years. Probably one of the most important things we’ve learnt is that our clients want and need models, tools and techniques that are easy to learn and easy to apply.

They simply don’t have the time or energy for the over complex, which is why we’ve spent the better part of those fifteen years researching and developing practical, step by step tools and techniques to help managers develop and improve their people management practices.

And if they’re not easy to learn and easy to apply we don’t use them.

We commit 10% of our profits to charitable organisations and 10% of our time to the voluntary sector
